Verizon Business Offers Wholesale Customers New Tiered Routing Options for Calls Terminating Outside U.S.Different Levels of Routing Provide Flexibility and Choice The new routing choices give customers the ability to select the option that fits not only their business plan, but their cost structure. Each routing choice is associated with specific destinations. International tiered routing for outbound service offers standard, premium and premium-plus routing options for traditional voice calls, with mobile roaming and fax capabilities where possible. Customers can also choose a different tier for each dedicated access line, providing even further delineation of route and cost structures. "International tiered routing gives our wholesale customers the ability to exercise choice when it comes to both meeting their customers' demands as well as fulfilling their business requirements," said Jim Tyrrell, vice president of marketing for voice solutions for Verizon Business. "This new option is another way Verizon Business gives wholesale customers the tools they need to stay viable in today's competitive market." Premium plus routing is the highest level of tiered routing, using direct routing where possible. Premium routing provides high-quality delivery in a cost-effective manner, while standard routing supports quality tiered routing at competitive rates. Verizon Business, whose predecessor companies entered the wholesale market in 1985, continues to support this market with a wide range of products and services as well as specialized tools that offer choice and flexibility. Wholesale products are sold by Verizon Partner Solutions and Verizon Business International Partner Solutions.
